This 3-phase SolarEdge system makes full use of many of SolarEdge’s unique features. It has 1 optimiser for every pair of panels giving us the flexibility to make maximum use of the limited roof space even with partial shading until 9:30am. The panels that are fully exposed to the sun during the early mornings work at 100% and are not affected by the few shaded panels as they would be with a conventional solar system. The customer enjoys maximum solar yield despite the shading challenges and multiple panel orientations. The system uses 2, industrial grade, 3-phase inverters. Reduces the hotel’s energy bill by ~P45,000/month which is around 10% of total energy bill since hotels have nighttime biased consumption.
