MONITORING SITE

This state-of-the-art system uses 5 inverters in parallel and 314 72-cell industrial grade solar panels. Each pair of panels has 1 optimiser for detailed system performance monitoring. As with all SolarEdge systems, rapid shutdown of the PV arrays is built-in for safety in case of any faults. The system currently satisfies 20% of the factory’s energy consumption and produces around 13MWh a month for savings >P100,000. The system yielded savings of over P1.8 million in the first 18 months of service. The factory is targeting a 3x (335kWp) system expansion in 2021 to satisfy 50-60% of the energy consumption.
