Solarius has crossed a major milestone, surpassing 10 megawatt-peak (MWp) of installed solar capacity across Luzon since the company was founded in 2017. The achievement was capped last week by the commissioning of a 420kWp rooftop system for a food manufacturing plant in Nueva Ecija — now one of the largest installations in the company’s portfolio.
The project spanned three months from initial site survey to final commissioning, and is expected to offset a significant portion of the facility’s daytime electricity costs.
A milestone years in the making
Reaching 10MWp reflects steady growth in demand for solar across residential, commercial, and industrial customers in Northern Luzon. Alongside panel capacity, Solarius has now deployed more than 3 megawatt-hours of lithium-ion battery storage and served over 350 customers to date.

What made this project stand out
The Nueva Ecija installation highlights several of the capabilities Solarius has built out over the past few years:
- A grid-tied design sized to cover the plant’s daytime base load for the fastest possible return on investment
- Net metering coordination with the local electric cooperative to credit excess daytime generation
- SolarEdge optimization for consistent performance across a large, partially shaded roof
- A commissioning and QA process to ensure the system runs at peak efficiency from day one

Looking ahead
